		<description>[...] if you&#8217;re a social observer, you&#8217;d say the way a company tweets (or doesn&#8217;t) is the way the company works. we all know how southwest, intel, and other &#8220;best practice&#8221; companies are flinging their doors open to give customers and future talent a glimpse inside. i&#8217;ve yet to see anyone approach this the way the chicago law school is. they created tweetchicago to introduce prospective students to law students and professors. as part of their recruitment efforts, tweetchicago showcases multiple days-in-the-life, underscores the accessibility of their professors, and highlights academic focus areas and interests. students gain a sense of the school&#8217;s culture and their potential experience and use this information to confirm their interest and fit. it&#8217;s a form of self-selection that i&#8217;d imagine leads to substantially reducing mis-hires.
