The New Transparency
I was on the Agenda with Steve Paikin last Friday discussing transparency in government along with Maryantonett Flumian, a professor of public and international affairs at the University of Ottawa, Leslie Harris, president of the Center for Democracy and Technology, and Globe and Mail columnist Mathew Ingram (Ingram 2.0). You can view the replay below.

Anthony,
I enjoyed the conversations about transparency on the Agenda taping. I liked your point about the need to cross/close the chasm between program/policy people and the social media types. I worked for years as a consultant (business analysis) to government – trying to get program and technology people on the same page. Now, most of my professional time I spend working as a mediator; and it’s with my conflict management lens that my mind gets a whirling… seeing anew the challenges and possible ways to bridge the differences (between program and technology).
And… thanks for your book (Wikinomics) – it’s given me lots of inspiration.
