Wikinomics in Action
Just wanted to bring to everyone’s attention the new “Wikinomics in Action” section in the right hand side column. The idea behind it is just like it sounds – to highlight companies and organizations that are putting the wikinomics principles to work. I highly recommend people take a tour through the links that we’ve put up so far to get a real feel for what’s going on - it ranges from “classics” like Second Life, YouTube and Innocentive, to newer developments that have been highlighted on this blog like Nokia Productions and the Dilbert mash ups. More importantly, the list is far from complete, and we want it to continually evolve – so feel free to make a recommendation on this post, or send us a comment, whenever and wherever you see wikinomics in action!

great idea! … hopefully people will use it! it is important to give examples … preaching and teaching alone isn’t enough:-))
I’ve been running WikiRecording.org for several years now as an attempt to build a “guide” for audio recording vs. a collection of encyclopedic information.
Currently we are experimenting with adding product manuals from company’s like Apogee and PreSonus in the hope that users will collaborate and improve on their product manuals.

E Einowski – I took a look at your site. It appears that it could be interesting, but one suggestion would be to lower the emphasis on the Google ads. It dominates so much of the space on the screen it – at first glance – appears to be one of those spam ad sites. Same thing if you click on a link like this one: http://www.wikirecording.org/PreSonus_Acousti-Q_Manual
Thanks much for the mention, Denis.
The team’s in hard-core development mode and the beta will be out very soon. We are extremely curious to get feedback from the Wikinomics community.
